HF–mPFC connectivity PMI shows a pattern of results similar to that of volumetric hippocampal PMI in relation to mnemonic performance. There was a significant interaction between HF–mPFC connectivity PMI and valence-predicting LGI for negative versus neutral images (maturity × valence: b = 0.027, z = 2.432, P = 0.015), with no evidence of a relationship between positive versus neutral images (maturity × valence: b = 0.004, z = 0.316, P = 0.752), showing a pattern remarkably like the volumetric HF results.
