The cover illustration shows materials used in three of the four spatial mental imagery tasks presented in a recent paper by Kim et al. (2013) (LearnMem 20: 657–663). The silhouette of the dog represents a sample true/false statement (“The ears of the German Shepherd are pointed up”) from the Mental Imagery Questionnaire. The squares and arrows (in the inner circle) represent templates from the Mental Paper Folding task. The rotated characters and numbers (in the periphery of the outer circle) represent sample stimuli used in the Mental Rotation task.
